pxld (pixeled) is a web design studio in Gilroy, CA. We build websites for restaurants, contractors, clinics, gyms, shops and service businesses: the places that keep a town running, and usually get stuck with a template.
AI handles the busywork (drafts, tests, the repetitive parts) so our hours go into design and detail. That's how we charge small-business prices for work that looks like it came from a big agency.

Questions.
Do I own the site?
Yes, fully. Once the final payment clears, the site, its design and its content are yours, with everything you need to move it if you ever want to.
What if I don't like the mock-up?
You walk away. The demo and the mock-up are free, and you owe nothing.
How do payments work?
Nothing until you've seen your mock-up. When you're ready, pay in full and save 10%, or pay 50% to start and the rest on completion, before the site goes live. Signature splits the second half into 25% at design approval and 25% at launch. You pay by card or Apple Pay through Stripe. The full flow is here.
What about hosting?
We can handle it. Every care plan includes hosting, SSL, daily backups and monitoring. At go-live we connect your domain (or help you get one), deploy, and either hand the site to your systems or look after it for you on a care plan. If you'd rather make your own edits, we can simply host it for you.
Do you write the copy?
Yes, at every tier. Launch: we write it all from a short intake. Growth: we write it all, optimized per page for search. Signature: we write it all, plus a 1-page brand voice guide. You can tweak anything you like.
How fast is it?
Launch takes 7 business days from kickoff, Growth 14, and Signature 21-28. The clock starts once we have your content.
Do you do e-commerce?
Yes, on Signature, as a quoted add-on. For a short menu, a service list or a handful of products, a link to the ordering or booking system you already use (Square, Toast, Shopify and others) usually covers it on any package.
